the Hope of Survivors

Aletta de Beer

Alette de BeerAletta de Beer was born in the beautiful country of Namibia. In Windhoek she married, bore two daughters and trained as a medical technologist before moving to South Africa with her little family. She is a lady of many talents—having worked in her field of study, in both private laboratories and in the South African Defense Force, as well in business administration and dining.

Sadly, her story also includes personal experience with infidelity, assault and abuse—experiences that have encouraged her to cultivate a special relationship with God and have birthed an exceptionally warm and compassionate heart. Aletta is a profound example of forgiveness and God’s ability to heal (and redeem) our deepest hurts. We feel blessed to have her as part of THOS-SA!

She is retired and currently resides in Heidelberg, Gauteng. Her life revolves around her children and grandchildren but when she is not lavishing them with her love she enjoys sewing, gardening and reading.
