Chaplain Daniel D. Saugh

Daniel SaughDaniel currently serves as an ordained pastor, and has served several congregations throughout the province with over 20 years of ministerial experience. He also serves as the 23rd Division Chaplain and on-call Chaplain at the HQ of the Toronto Police Services. He is a registered psychotherapist (RP) of Ontario and trained chaplain. He has served the Canadian Armed Forces for over 7 years as an officer and Chaplain. He holds a double undergraduate degree HBA, in Kinesiology/Health Sciences/Health Studies/Wellness (York University, Toronto, ON), MDiv in pastoral ministry/care, Master of Science in organizational behavior/community development (Andrews University, MI, USA), a Master's degree in Public Health education/health promotion (Loma Linda University, CA, USA) and is currently a PhD candidate in Human Relations (Spiritual care, theology and psychotherapy) at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. He also has studied at Tyndale University College in Ontario and was a summer scholarship student at Duke University, NC, USA, Centre for Spirituality, Theology and Medicine. He has conducted numerous presentations, seminars, and traveled extensively working with people of diverse cultures. He is passionate about helping people heal, recover, and experience restoration from life's disruptions and difficulties and to embrace a wholeness approach to living a more fulfilling life.
