Mary Jo came into contact with The Hope of Survivors after searching for information on pastoral affairs. The hope, healing, and support found through this ministry have given her a desire to become a volunteer.
Married over thirty-five years to her best friend, Marty, they have two adult children, a son-in-law, and two grand puppies. They enjoy riding their Harley, walking, hiking, watching sunsets, and spending time with family and friends. They are surprised and pleased to have found they are in a better relationship today than the day they were married. They attend a healthy church where Marty is using his musical talent, playing the saxophone on the worship team.
After volunteering for The Hope of Survivors for two years, Mary Jo accepted a staff position as Victim Support Coordinator & Executive Assistant. She is excited to join the mission of educating the church on the dangers and dynamics of Clergy Sexual Abuse and help bring hope, healing, and support to other survivors.
