Shirah Martinez is a recent graduate of Lamar University and has worked in various areas of education including Special Education with emphasis on students with emotional and behavioral disorders. She has worked in the field of education for almost 10 years and currently teaches at a High school in Texas.
She has created mentor programs for youth and is excited to see young women and men become mature, whole and committed to the purpose that Christ has given them. She is currently involved in various projects including the development of resources for believers who desire to grow in their spiritual walk. Through song, prayer and discipleship, she strives to continue to spread the love of Jesus wherever she goes.
Shirah has a passion for social justice and a desire for the Heart of God to be released into the earth. After seeing the devastation and destruction that pastoral abuse caused in churches, she searched for a way that God could bring healing for the victims, pastors, and families of all who were impacted. Prayers were answered when she discovered The Hope of Survivors!
